Abstract:

A new series of Quinazolone Schiff bases were synthesized. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed on the basis of IR, 1HNMR. The synthesized compounds (X1 to X6) were screened for anti-inflammatory activity. Among the entire test compounds, X2 have shown promising activity as compared to the rest. All the experimental results were statistically significant.

KEYWORDS: Quinazolone, Anti-inflammatory, Schiff bases, Antibacterial, Antifungal.
